Every hide that passes through our atelier carries a complete chain-of-custody record โ a guarantee of legal, ethical, and ecologically sound origin.
Our four-stage traceability system
- Farm of origin โ Each skin is tagged at the CITES-licensed farm with date, breeder ID, and species.
- CITES documentation โ Export and import permits filed and archived. Tags remain affixed through tanning.
- Tannage record โ Internal lot number assigned; tannage method, duration, and finisher signature logged.
- Hide passport โ Final delivery includes a hide-specific passport with all upstream provenance documents.
Clients can request the complete passport for any hide they receive โ by lot number, at any time.
